Use a lawnmower underneath the main areas such as the monkey bar ladder, swing frames and Twirly Whirly Bars.
Use a whipper snipper for the hard-to-reach spots around the baseplates and keep it nice and low to avoid clipping the poles.
Your monkey bars may be a little stiff after a long winter, especially with minimal use. Be sure to spray all moving parts (swing hooks, swivels, flying fox trolleys...) with a lanolin-based lubricant such as "Lanox" to loosen them up, ready for months full of outdoor play.
Go around your Funky frame with your 8mm allen key to ensure all connections are completely tight and secure.
Fabric and rope straps that are found on Ninja Grips, Delta Rings, Boxing Bags, Roman Rings, Aerial equipment and some swings need to be checked before use - especially if they have been left in the elements over winter.
Check all stitching and knots for any fraying, and give item a quick, tough pull to ensure it is secure before applying body weight.
Check the peg that is in each base plate of your Funky frame and ensure they are all the way in.
If you find that some have come out slightly, simply step on them to push them back in or use a rubber hammer.
Grab a slightly damp cloth and give your Funky frame a quick wipe down, cleaning off any residue or dirt that is collected over the stormy winter. This will also leave your Funky frame looking nice and shiny. ✨
