The Original is the starting point for any Funky Monkey Bar configuration. The Original is designed to fit most backyards and is height adjustable to grow with your child. In the future, add bars and accessories to The Original as they become available to New Zealand, to keep it dynamic and age appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE: The Original is load-rated to 480kgs and is tough enough for adults and big kids.
The monkey bars and twirly-whirly bars are powder coated in the colour of your choice. The legs and swing frames of all our products are powder-coated silver, creating our unique industrial look.

My eldest has blisters on her hands from too much fun already!! The bars are so strong and sturdy, we can tell they are going to last a very long time. Would definitely recommend FMB to anyone considering a set for their own backyard. The fact that we can build on to our Original with different accessories for birthdays and Christmas, was also appealing. We love the fact that it’s encouraging our two to get outside and get active!

We’ve made our Funky Monkey Bars® to suit you with a host of features that make our play equipment tough, durable, creative, portable, to high safety standards and above all fun.
There is no need to concrete a Funky Monkey Bar into the ground. The unique patent Funky Monkey Bar design, with its twirly-whirly bars, provide the stability - just peg it down on grass.
As kids grow in size, skill and confidence the adjustable Funky Monkey Bar can grow with them. Height adjustable anywhere between 1.2 to 2.3 m.
All Funky Monkey Bars® playground configurations are designed to Australian Safety Standard AS4685.1 with certified load ratings between 480 to 1,870kgs.
All Funky Monkey Bars® are made from Australian galvanised steel tube and stainless steel screws and fittings so they will not rust and coloured with Dulux outdoor powder coating - it'll withstand the weather and last for generations.
Our designs are all proudly Australian designed and made.
Funky Monkey Bars® come flat packed, with full instructions and all the tools to easily assemble and install in the backyard - just add a little muscle.
